Salmos 28

1De Davide. A ti clamo. Senhor; minha rocha, não sejas surdo para mim, não suceda que, não me ouvindo tu, eu seja semelhante àqueles que descem à cova.

2Ouve, Senhor, a voz da minha súplica, quando chamo por ti, quando levanto as minhas mãos para o teu santo templo.

3Não me arrebates juntamente com os pecadores, com os que praticam a iniquidade, os quais falam de paz com o seu próximo, mas no seu coração têm a maldade.

4Dá-lhes segundo as suas obras e segundo a malícia dos seus delitos. Dá-lhes segundo as obras das suas mãos, dá-lhes aquilo que fizeram.

5Porque não atendem aos feitos do Senhor, nem à obra das suas mãos, ele os destrua, e não os restabeleça.

6Bendito seja o Senhor, porque ouviu a voz da minha súplica,

7o Senhor, minha força e meu escudo! Nele confiou o meu coração, e fui ajudado; por isso o meu coração exulta, e o louvo com o meu cântico.

8O Senhor é a força do seu povo, e uma fortaleza de salvação para o seu ungido.

9Salva, Senhor, o teu povo, e abençoa a tua herança, apascenta-os e sustenta-os eternamente.

1Psalmus ipsi David. [Ad te, Domine, clamabo; Deus meus, ne sileas a me: nequando taceas a me, et assimilabor descendentibus in lacum.

2Exaudi, Domine, vocem deprecationis meæ dum oro ad te; dum extollo manus meas ad templum sanctum tuum.

3Ne simul trahas me cum peccatoribus, et cum operantibus iniquitatem ne perdas me; qui loquuntur pacem cum proximo suo, mala autem in cordibus eorum.

4Da illis secundum opera eorum, et secundum nequitiam adinventionum ipsorum. Secundum opera manuum eorum tribue illis; redde retributionem eorum ipsis.

5Quoniam non intellexerunt opera Domini, et in opera manuum ejus destrues illos, et non ædificabis eos.

6Benedictus Dominus, quoniam exaudivit vocem deprecationis meæ.

7Dominus adjutor meus et protector meus; in ipso speravit cor meum, et adjutus sum: et refloruit caro mea, et ex voluntate mea confitebor ei.

8Dominus fortitudo plebis suæ, et protector salvationum christi sui est.

9Salvum fac populum tuum, Domine, et benedic hæreditati tuæ; et rege eos, et extolle illos usque in æternum.]

1A psalm for David himself. Unto thee will I cry, O Lord: O my God, be not thou silent to me: lest thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.

2Hear, O Lord, the voice of my supplication, when I pray to thee; when I lift up my hands to thy holy temple.

3Draw me not away together with the wicked; and with the workers of iniquity destroy me not: Who speak peace with their neighbour, but evils are in their hearts.

4Give them according to their works, and according to the wickedness of their inventions. According to the works of their hands give thou to them: render to them their reward.

5Because they have not understood the works of the Lord, and the operations of his hands: thou shalt destroy them, and shalt not build them up.

6Blessed be the Lord, for he hath heard the voice of my supplication.

7The Lord is my helper and my protector: in him hath my heart confided, and I have been helped. And my flesh hath flourished again, and with my will I will give praise to him.

8The Lord is the strength of his people, and the protector of the salvation of his anointed.

9Save, O Lord, thy people, and bless thy inheritance: and rule them and exalt them for ever.
