Salmos 118

1¡Hallelú Yah! Alabad a Yahvé porque es bueno, porque su misericordia permanece para siempre.

2Diga ahora la casa de Israel: “Su misericordia permanece para siempre.”

3Diga la casa de Aarón: “Su misericordia permanece para siempre.”

4Digan los que temen a Yahvé: “Su misericordia permanece para siempre.”

5En la estrechez invoqué a Yah; y Yah me escuchó y me sacó a la anchura.

6Yahvé está en mi favor, nada temo. ¿Qué podrá hacerme el hombre?

7Yahvé, mi auxiliador, está conmigo y miraré (confundidos) a mis enemigos.

8Mejor es acogerse a Yahvé que confiar en el hombre.

9Mejor es acogerse a Yahvé que confiar en príncipes.

10Todas las naciones me habían cercado; en el Nombre de Yahvé las hice pedazos.

11Me envolvieron por todas partes; en el Nombre de Yahvé las hice pedazos.

12Me rodeaban como abejas, ardían como fuego de espinas; en el Nombre de Yahvé las hice pedazos.

13Empujado, empujado, estuve a punto de caer, pero Yahvé vino en mi ayuda.

14Mi fuerza y mi valor es Yahvé, mi Salvador es Él.

15Voz de exultación y de triunfo en las tiendas de los justos: “La diestra de Yahvé ha hecho proezas;

16la diestra de Yahvé se alzó muy alto, la diestra de Yahvé ha hecho proezas.

17No moriré, sino que viviré; y publicaré las hazañas de Yahvé.

18Me castigó Yah, me castigó, pero no me entregó a la muerte.”

19Abridme las puertas de la justicia, para que entre por ellas y dé gracias a Yah.

20Esta es la puerta de Yahvé; entren los justos por ella.

21Te daré gracias porque me escuchaste y te has hecho mi Salvador.

22La piedra que rechazaron los constructores ha venido a ser la piedra angular.

23Obra de Yahvé es esto, admirable ante nuestros ojos.

24Este es el día que hizo Yahvé; alegrémonos por él y celebrémoslo.

25Sí, oh Yahvé, ¡da la victoria! Sí, oh Yahvé, ¡da prosperidad!

26Bendito el que viene en el nombre de Yahvé; desde la casa de Yahvé os bendecimos.

27Yahvé es Dios y nos ha iluminado. Ordenad procesión con ramos frondosos hasta los cuernos del altar.

28Mi Dios eres Tú y te doy gracias; mi Dios eres Tú, quiero alabarte;

29Alabad a Yahvé porque es bueno; porque su misericordia permanece para siempre.

2Dicat nunc Israël: Quoniam bonus, quoniam in sæculum misericordia ejus.

3Dicat nunc domus Aaron: Quoniam in sæculum misericordia ejus.

4Dicant nunc qui timent Dominum: Quoniam in sæculum misericordia ejus.

5De tribulatione invocavi Dominum, et exaudivit me in latitudine Dominus.

6Dominus mihi adjutor; non timebo quid faciat mihi homo.

7Dominus mihi adjutor, et ego despiciam inimicos meos.

8Bonum est confidere in Domino, quam confidere in homine.

9Bonum est sperare in Domino, quam sperare in principibus.

10Omnes gentes circuierunt me, et in nomine Domini, quia ultus sum in eos.

11Circumdantes circumdederunt me, et in nomine Domini, quia ultus sum in eos.

12Circumdederunt me sicut apes, et exarserunt sicut ignis in spinis: et in nomine Domini, quia ultus sum in eos.

13Impulsus eversus sum, ut caderem, et Dominus suscepit me.

14Fortitudo mea et laus mea Dominus, et factus est mihi in salutem.

15Vox exsultationis et salutis in tabernaculis justorum.

16Dextera Domini fecit virtutem; dextera Domini exaltavit me: dextera Domini fecit virtutem.

17Non moriar, sed vivam, et narrabo opera Domini.

18Castigans castigavit me Dominus, et morti non tradidit me.

19Aperite mihi portas justitiæ: ingressus in eas confitebor Domino.

20Hæc porta Domini: justi intrabunt in eam.

21Confitebor tibi quoniam exaudisti me, et factus es mihi in salutem.

22Lapidem quem reprobaverunt ædificantes, hic factus est in caput anguli.

23A Domino factum est istud, et est mirabile in oculis nostris.

24Hæc est dies quam fecit Dominus; exsultemus, et lætemur in ea.

25O Domine, salvum me fac; o Domine, bene prosperare.

26Benedictus qui venit in nomine Domini: benediximus vobis de domo Domini.

27Deus Dominus, et illuxit nobis. Constituite diem solemnem in condensis, usque ad cornu altaris.

28Deus meus es tu, et confitebor tibi; Deus meus es tu, et exaltabo te. Confitebor tibi quoniam exaudisti me, et factus es mihi in salutem.

29Confitemini Domino, quoniam bonus, quoniam in sæculum misericordia ejus.]

1Give praise to Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

2Let Israel now say that he is good: that his mercy endureth for ever.

3Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.

4Let them that fear the Lord now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.

5In my trouble I called upon the Lord: and the Lord heard me, and enlarged me.

6The Lord is my helper, I will not fear what man can do unto me.

7The Lord is my helper: and I will look over my enemies.

8It is good to confide in the Lord, rather than to have confidence in man.

9It is good to trust in the Lord, rather than to trust in princes.

10All nations compassed me about; and in the name of the Lord I have been revenged on them.

11Surrounding me they compassed me about: and in the name of the Lord I have been revenged on them.

12They surrounded me like bees, and they burned like fire among thorns: and in the name of the Lord I was revenged on them.

13Being pushed I was overturned that I might fall: but the Lord supported me.

14The Lord is my strength and my praise: and he is become my salvation.

15The voice of rejoicing and of salvation is in the tabernacles of the just.

16The right hand of the Lord hath wrought strength: the right hand of the Lord hath exulted me: the right hand of the Lord hath wrought strength.

17I shall not die, but live: and shall declare the works of the Lord.

18The Lord chastising hath chastised me: but he hath not delivered me over to death.

19Open ye to me the gates of justice: I will go into them, and give praise to the Lord.

20This is the gate of the Lord, the just shall enter into it.

21I will give glory to thee because thou hast heard me: and art become my salvation.

22The stone which the builders rejected; the same is become the head of the corner.

23This is the Lord’s doing: and it is wonderful in our eyes.

24This is the day which the Lord hath made: let us be glad and rejoice therein.

25O Lord, save me: O Lord, give good success.

26Blessed be he that cometh in the name Lord. We have blessed you out of the house of the Lord.

27The Lord is God, and he hath shone upon us. Appoint a solemn day, with shady boughs, even to the horn of the alter.

28Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, and I will exalt thee. I will praise thee, because thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.

29O praise ye the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
