Salmos 103

1De David. Bendice a Yahvé, alma mía, y todo cuanto hay en mí bendiga su santo Nombre.

2Bendice a Yahvé, alma mía, y no quieras olvidar todos sus favores.

3Es Él quien perdona todas tus culpas, quien sana todas tus dolencias.

4Él rescata de la muerte tu vida, Él te corona de bondad y misericordia.

5Él harta de bienes tu vida; tu juventud se renueva como la del águila.

6Yahvé practica la rectitud y a todos los oprimidos hace justicia.

7Hizo conocer sus caminos a Moisés y a los hijos de Israel sus hazañas.

8Misericordioso y benigno es Yahvé, tarde en airarse y lleno de clemencia.

9No está siempre acusando, ni guarda rencor para siempre.

10No nos trata conforme a nuestros pecados, ni nos paga según nuestras iniquidades.

11Pues cuanto se alza el cielo sobre la tierra, tanto prevalece su misericordia para los que le temen.

12Cuanto dista el Oriente del Occidente, tan lejos echa de nosotros nuestros delitos.

13Como un padre que se apiada de sus hijos, así Yahvé se compadece de los que le temen.

14Porque Él sabe de qué estamos formados: Él recuerda que somos polvo.

15Los días del hombre son como el heno; como la flor del campo, así florece.

16Apenas le roza el viento, y ya no existe; y ni siquiera se conoce el espacio que ocupó.

17Mas la misericordia de Yahvé permanece [desde la eternidad y] hasta la eternidad, con los que le temen, y su protección, hasta los hijos de los hijos,

18de los que conservan su alianza y recuerdan sus preceptos para cumplirlos.

19Yahvé tiene establecido su trono en el cielo, y su Reino gobernará el universo.

20Bendecid a Yahvé todos sus ángeles, héroes poderosos que ejecutáis sus mandatos en cumplimiento de su palabra.

21Bendecid a Yahvé todos sus ejércitos, ministros suyos que hacéis su voluntad.

22Bendecid a Yahvé todas sus obras, en todos los lugares de su imperio. Bendice tú, alma mía, a Yahvé.

1Ipsi David. [Benedic, anima mea, Domino, et omnia quæ intra me sunt nomini sancto ejus.

2Benedic, anima mea, Domino, et noli oblivisci omnes retributiones ejus.

3Qui propitiatur omnibus iniquitatibus tuis; qui sanat omnes infirmitates tuas:

4qui redimit de interitu vitam tuam; qui coronat te in misericordia et miserationibus:

5qui replet in bonis desiderium tuum; renovabitur ut aquilæ juventus tua:

6faciens misericordias Dominus, et judicium omnibus injuriam patientibus.

7Notas fecit vias suas Moysi; filiis Israël voluntates suas.

8Miserator et misericors Dominus: longanimis, et multum misericors.

9Non in perpetuum irascetur, neque in æternum comminabitur.

10Non secundum peccata nostra fecit nobis, neque secundum iniquitates nostras retribuit nobis.

11Quoniam secundum altitudinem cæli a terra, corroboravit misericordiam suam super timentes se;

12quantum distat ortus ab occidente, longe fecit a nobis iniquitates nostras.

13Quomodo miseretur pater filiorum, misertus est Dominus timentibus se.

14Quoniam ipse cognovit figmentum nostrum; recordatus est quoniam pulvis sumus.

15Homo, sicut fœnum dies ejus; tamquam flos agri, sic efflorebit:

16quoniam spiritus pertransibit in illo, et non subsistet, et non cognoscet amplius locum suum.

17Misericordia autem Domini ab æterno, et usque in æternum super timentes eum. Et justitia illius in filios filiorum,

18his qui servant testamentum ejus, et memores sunt mandatorum ipsius ad faciendum ea.

19Dominus in cælo paravit sedem suam, et regnum ipsius omnibus dominabitur.

20Benedicite Domino, omnes angeli ejus: potentes virtute, facientes verbum illius, ad audiendam vocem sermonum ejus.

21Benedicite Domino, omnes virtutes ejus; ministri ejus, qui facitis voluntatem ejus.

22Benedicite Domino, omnia opera ejus: in omni loco dominationis ejus, benedic, anima mea, Domino.]

1For David himself. Bless the Lord, O my soul: and let all that is within me bless his holy name.

2Bless the Lord, O my soul, and never forget all he hath done for thee.

3Who forgiveth all thy iniquities: who healeth all thy diseases.

4Who redeemeth thy life from destruction: who crowneth thee with mercy and compassion.

5Who satisfieth thy desire with good things: thy youth shall be renewed like the eagle’s.

6The Lord doth mercies, and judgment for all that suffer wrong.

7He hath made his ways known to Moses: his wills to the children of Israel.

8The ford is compassionate and merciful: longsuffering and plenteous in mercy.

9He will not always be angry: nor will he threaten for ever.

10He hath not dealt with us according to our sins: nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

11For according to the height of the heaven above the earth: he hath strengthened his mercy towards them that fear him.

12As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our iniquities from us.

13As a father hath compassion on his children, so hath the Lord compassion on them that fear him:

14For he knoweth our frame. He remembereth that we are dust:

15Man’s days are as grass, as the flower of the field so shall he flourish.

16For the spirit shall pass in him, and he shall not be: and he shall know his place no more.

17But the mercy of the Lord is from eternity and unto eternity upon them that fear him: And his justice unto children’s children,

18To such as keep his covenant, And are mindful of his commandments to do them.

19The Lord hath prepared his throne in heaven: and his kingdom shall rule over all.

20Bless the Lord, all ye his angels: you that are mighty in strength, and execute his word, hearkening to the voice of his orders.

21Bless the Lord, all ye his hosts: you ministers of his that do his will.

22Bless the Lord, all his works: in every place of his dominion, O my soul, bless thou the Lord.
