1Davidde poi ebbe questi figliuoli, i quali nacquero a lui in Hebron: Ammon primogenito figliuolo di Achinoam Jezrahelitide; secondo Daniel di Abigail del Carmelo:

2Terzo Assalone figliuolo di Maacha figliuola di Tholmai re di Gessur; quarto Adonia figliuolo di Haggith;

3Quinto Saphatia figliuolo di Abitai; sesto Jethraam figliuolo di Egla sua moglie.

4Sei figliuoli pertanto ebbe Davidde, mentre stava in Hebron, dove regnò sette anni, e sei mesi. Regnò di poi in Gerusalemme trentatre anni.

5E in Gerusalemme ebbe questi figliuoli: Simmaa, e Sobab, e Nathan, e Salomone, tutti quattro di Bethsabea figliuola di Ammiel;

6E di poi Jebahar, ed Elisama,

7Ed Eliphaleth, e Noge, e Nepheg, e Japhia.

8E anche Elisama, ed Fluida, ed Eliphaleth, nove.

9Questi sono tutti figliuoli di Davidde senza i figliuoli delle concubine: ed ebbero una sorella, cioè Thamar.

10Figliuolo di Salomone fu Roboam, il di cui figliuolo Abia generò Asa. E da questo fu generato Josaphat,

11Il quale fu padre di Joram: e Joram generò Ochozia, il quale generò Gioas.

12Di Gioas fu figliuolo Amasia, il quale generò Azaria. E di Azaria fu figliuolo Joathan,

13Il quale generò Achaz padre di Ezechia, da cui venne Manasse.

14Manasse poi generò Amon padre di Josia.

15Figliuoli di Josia furono Johanan primogenito, secondo Joakim, terzo Sedecia, quarto Sellum.

16Di Joakim nacque Jechonia, e Sedecia.

17Figliuoli di Jechonia furono Asir, Salathiel:

18Melchiram, Phadaia, Senneser, e Jecemia, Sama, e Nadabia.

19Di Phadaia nacquero Zorobabel, e Semei. Zorobabel generò Mosollam, Hanania, e Salomith loro sorella.

20E anche questi cinque, Hasaban, e Ohol, e Barachìa, e Hasadia, e Josabhesed.

21Figliuolo di Hanania fu Phaltias, il quale fu padre di Jeseia, di cui fu figliuolo Raphaia, il quale fu padre di Arnan da cui nacque Obdia, di cui fu figliuolo Sechenia.

22Figliuolo di Sechenia fu Semeia, del quale furon figliuoli Hattus, e Jegaal, e Baria, e Naaria, e Saphat; numero sei.

23Di Naaria furon tre figliuoli: Elioenai, ed Ezechia, ed Ezricham.

24Figliuoli di Elioenai: Odvia, ed Eliasub, e Pheleia, e Accub, e Johanan, e Dalaia, e Hanani, sette.

1David vero hos habuit filios, qui ei nati sunt in Hebron: primogenitum Amnon ex Achinoam Jezrahelitide, secundum Daniel de Abigail Carmelitide,

2tertium Absalom filium Maacha filiæ Tholmai regis Gessur, quartum Adoniam filium Aggith,

3quintum Saphathiam ex Abital, sextum Jethraham de Egla uxore sua.

4Sex ergo nati sunt ei in Hebron, ubi regnavit septem annis et sex mensibus. Triginta autem et tribus annis regnavit in Jerusalem.

5Porro in Jerusalem nati sunt ei filii, Simmaa, et Sobab, et Nathan, et Salomon, quatuor de Bethsabee filia Ammiel:

6Jebaar quoque et Elisama,

7et Eliphaleth, et Noge, et Nepheg, et Japhia,

8necnon Elisama, et Eliada, et Elipheleth, novem:

9omnes hi, filii David absque filiis concubinarum: habueruntque sororem Thamar.

10Filius autem Salomonis, Roboam: cujus Abia filius genuit Asa. De hoc quoque natus est Josaphat,

11pater Joram: qui Joram genuit Ochoziam, ex quo ortus est Joas:

12et hujus Amasias filius genuit Azariam. Porro Azariæ filius Joatham

13procreavit Achaz patrem Ezechiæ, de quo natus est Manasses.

14Sed et Manasses genuit Amon patrem Josiæ.

15Filii autem Josiæ fuerunt: primogenitus Johanan, secundus Joakim, tertius Sedecias, quartus Sellum.

16De Joakim natus est Jechonias, et Sedecias.

17Filii Jechoniæ fuerunt: Asir, Salathiel,

18Melchiram, Phadaia, Senneser, et Jecemia, Sama, et Nadabia.

19De Phadaia orti sunt Zorobabel et Semei. Zorobabel genuit Mosollam, Hananiam, et Salomith sororem eorum:

20Hasaban quoque, et Ohol, et Barachian, et Hasadian, Josabhesed, quinque.

21Filius autem Hananiæ, Phaltias pater Jeseiæ, cujus filius Raphaia: hujus quoque filius, Arnan, de quo natus est Obdia, cujus filius fuit Sechenias.

22Filius Secheniæ, Semeia: cujus filii Hattus, et Jegaal, et Baria, et Naaria, et Saphat, sex numero.

23Filius Naariæ, Elioënai, et Ezechias, et Ezricam, tres.

24Filii Elioënai, Oduia, et Eliasub, et Pheleia, et Accub, et Johanan, et Dalaia, et Anani, septem.

1Now these were the sons of David that were born to him in Hebron: the firstborn Amnon of Achinoam the Jezrahelitess, the second Daniel of Abigail the Carmelitess.

2The third Absalom the son of Maacha the daughter of Tolmai king of Gessur, the fourth Adonias the son of Aggith,

3The fifth Saphatias of Abital, the sixth Jethrahem of Egla, his wife.

4So six sons were born to him in Hebron, where he reigned seven years and six months. And in Jerusalem he reigned three and thirty years.

5And these sons were born to him in Jerusalem: Simmaa, and Sobab, and Nathan, and Solomon, four of Bethsabee the daughter of Ammiel.

6Jebaar also and Elisama,

7And Eliphaleeh, and Noge, and Nepheg, and Japhia,

8And Elisama, and Eliada, and Elipheleth, nine:

9All these the sons of David, beside the sons of the concubines: and they had a sister Thamar.

10And Solomon’s son was Roboam: whose son Abia beget Asa. And his son was Josaphat,

11The father of Joram: and Joram begot Ochozias, of whom was born Joas:

12And his son Amasias begot Azarias. And Joathan the son of Azarias

13Beget Achaz, the father of Ezechias, of whom was born Manasses.

14And Manasses beget Amen the father of Josias.

15And the sons of Josias were, the firstborn Johanan, the second Joakim, the third Sedecias, the fourth Sellum.

16Of Joakim was born Jechonias, and Sedecias.

17The sons of Jechonias were Asir, Salathiel,

18Melchiram, Phadaia, Senneser and Jecemia, Sama, and Nadabia.

19Of Phadaia were born Zorobabel and Semei. Zorobabel beget Mosollam, Hananias, and Salomith their sister:

20Hasaba also, and Ohol, and Barachias, and Hasadias, Josabhesed, five.

21And the son of Hananias was Phaltias the father of Jeseias, whose son was Raphaia. And his son was Arnan, of whom was born Obdia, whose son was Sechenias.

22The son of Sechenias, was Semeia, whose sons were Hattus, and Jegaal, and Baria, and Naaria, and Saphat, six in number.

23The sons of Naaria, Elioenai, and Ezechias, and Ezricam, three.

24The sons of Elioenai, Oduia, and Eliasub, and Pheleia, and Accub, and Johanan, and Dalaia, and Anani, seven.
