1Or nel giorno, in cui Mosè compì il tabernacolo, e lo alzò, e lo unse, e lo santificò con tutti i vasi suoi, e similmente l'altare, e tutti i suoi vasi,

2I principi d'Israele, e i capi delle famiglie in ciascheduna tribù, i quali soprastavano a quelli, de' quali erasi fatto registro, offerirono

3I loro doni dinanzi al Signore: sei carri coperti con dodici buoi. Due capi offerirono un carro, e ognun di essi un bue, e li menarono al cospetto del tabernacolo.

4E il Signore disse a Mosè:

5Prendi da essi il loro dono per servigio del tabernacolo, e lo rimetterai ai Leviti, avuto riguardo al loro ministero.

6Mosè adunque avendo ricevuti i carri, e i bovi, li diede a' Leviti

7Due carri, e quattro buoi li diede a' figliuoli di Gerson, conforme ne avean bisogno.

8Quattro altri carri, e otto buoi li diede a' figliuoli di Merari, avuto riguardò agli ufficii, e incumbenze, che aveano sotto Ithamar figliuolo di Aronne sacerdote:

9A' figliuoli poi di Caath non diede carri, né bovi: perché servono al santuario, e portano i loro pesi sulle proprie spalle.

10I capi adunque offerirono le loro obblazioni dinanzi all'altare per la dedicazione dell'altare, il giorno, nel quale fu unto.

11E il Signore disse a Mosè: Tutti i capi offeriscano ogni giorno i loro doni per la consacrazione dell'altare.

12Il primo giorno fece la sua offerta Naasson figliuolo di Aminadab della tribù di Giuda;

13E in questa offerta vi furono una scodella d'argento di peso di cento trenta sicli, una coppa d'argento di settanta sicli al peso del santuario, l'una e l'altra piene di fior di farina aspersa d'olio pel sacrifizio:

14Un piccol vaso d'oro di dieci sicli pieno d'incenso:

15Un bue di branco, e un ariete, e un agnello dell'anno per l'olocausto:

16E un capro per lo peccato:

17E pel sacrifizio pacifico due bovi, cinque arieti, cinque capri, cinque agnelli dell'anno: questa è l'offerta di Naasson figliuolo di Aminadab.

84Queste cose furono offerte da' principi d'Israele alla dedicazione dell'altare, allorché questo fu consacrato: dodici scodelle d'argento, dodici coppe d'argento, dodici vasetti d'oro:

85Con questa regola, che una scodella pesava cento trenta sicli, e una coppa settanta sicli: vale a dire, che in tutto pesavano tutt'i vasi d'argento due mila quattrocento sicli al peso del santuario:

86I dodici piccoli vasi d'oro pieni d'incenso, i quali pesavan ognuno dieci sicli a peso del santuario, facevano tutti insieme cento venti sicli d'oro:

87Bovi di branco pell'olocausto dodici, dodici arieti, dodici agnelli d'un anno colle loro libagioni, dodici capri per lo peccato.

88Per le ostie pacifiche ventiquattro bovi, sessanta arieti, sessanta capri, sessanta agnelli dell'anno. Queste cose furono offerte alla dedicazione dell'altare, allorché questo fu unto.

89E quando Mosè entrava nel tabernacolo dell'alleanza per consultare l'oracolo, udiva la voce di lui, che gli parlava dal propiziatorio, che era sopra l'arca del testimonio trai due Cherubini, donde quegli parlava a Mosè.

89Cumque ingrederetur Moyses tabernaculum fœderis, ut consuleret oraculum, audiebat vocem loquentis ad se de propitiatorio quod erat super arcam testimonii inter duos cherubim, unde et loquebatur ei.

1And it came to pass in the day that Moses had finished the tabernacle, and set it up, and had anointed and sanctified it with all its vessels, the altar likewise and all the vessels thereof,

2The princes of Israel and the heads of the families, in every tribe, who were the rulers of them who had been numbered, offered

3Their gifts before the Lord, six wagons covered, and twelve oxen. Two princes offered one wagon, and each one an ox, and they offered them before the tabernacle.

4And the Lord said to Moses:

5Receive them from them to serve in the ministry of the tabernacle, and thou shalt deliver them to the Levites according to the order of their ministry.

84These were the offerings made by the princes of Israel in the dedication of the altar, in the day wherein it was consecrated. Twelve dishes of silver: twelve silver bowls: twelve little mortars of gold:

85Each dish weighing a hundred and thirty sides of silver, and each bowl seventy sides: that is, putting all the vessels of silver together, two thousand four hundred sides, by the weight of the sanctuary.

86Twelve little mortars of gold full of incense, weighing ten sides apiece, by the weight of the sanctuary: that is, in all a hundred and twenty sides of gold.

87Twelve oxen out of the herd for a holocaust, twelve rams, twelve lambs of a year old, and their libations: twelve buck goats for sin.

88And for sacrifices of peace offerings, oxen twenty-four, rams sixty, buck goats sixty, lambs of a year old sixty. These things were offered in the dedication of the altar, when it was anointed.

89And when Moses entered into the tabernacle of the covenant, to consult the oracle, he heard the voice of one speaking to him from the propitiatory, that was over the ark between the two cherubims, and from this place he spoke to him.
