Isaia 12

1E tu dirai in quel giorno: A te darò laude, o Signore, perchè tu eri sdegnato con me: il furor tuo si è dileguato, e tu mi hai consolato.

2Ecco Dio mio Salvatore, agirò con fidanza, e non temerò; perocché mia fortezza, e mia gloria è il Signore, ed egli è mia salute.

3Attignerete acque con gaudio dalle fonti del Salvatore:

4E direte in quel giorno: Rendete grazie al Signore, e invocate il nome di lui: annunziate i consigli di lui alle genti: ricordatevi come eccelso egli è il nome di lui.

5Date laude al Signore, perchè grandi cose egli ha fatte: divulgate queste cose per tutta la terra.

6Esulta, e canta inni di lode, casa di Sion: perocché grande è in mezzo a te il santo d'Israele.

1[Et dices in die illa: Confitebor tibi, Domine, quoniam iratus es mihi; conversus est furor tuus, et consolatus es me.

2Ecce Deus salvator meus; fiducialiter agam, et non timebo: quia fortitudo mea et laus mea Dominus, et factus est mihi in salutem.

3Haurietis aquas in gaudio de fontibus salvatoris.

4Et dicetis in die illa: Confitemini Domino et invocate nomen ejus; notas facite in populis adinventiones ejus; mementote quoniam excelsum est nomen ejus.

5Cantate Domino, quoniam magnifice fecit; annuntiate hoc in universa terra.

6Exsulta et lauda, habitatio Sion, quia magnus in medio tui Sanctus Israël.]

1And thou shalt say in that day: I will give thanks to thee, O Lord, for thou wast angry with me: thy wrath is turned away, and thou hast comforted me.

2Behold, God is my saviour, I will deal confidently, and will not fear: O because the Lord is my strength, and my praise, and he is become my salvation.

3You shall draw waters with joy out of the saviour’s fountains:

4And you shall say in that day: Praise ye the Lord, and call upon his name: make his works known among the people: remember that his name is high.

5Sing ye to the Lord, for he hath done great things: shew this forth in all the earth.

6Rejoice, and praise, O thou habitation of Sion: for great is he that is in the midst of thee, the Holy One of Israel.
