1Le jour où Moïse acheva de dresser la Demeure, de l’oindre et de la sanctifier avec tous ses ustensiles, ainsi que l’autel avec tous ses ustensiles ; lorsqu’il les eut oints et sanctifiés,

2les princes d’Israël, chefs de leurs maisons patriarcales, présentèrent leurs offrandes : c’étaient les princes des tribus, ceux qui avaient présidé au dénombrement.

3Ils amenèrent leur offrande devant Yahweh : six chars couverts et douze bœufs, soit un char pour deux princes et un bœuf pour chaque prince, et ils les présentèrent devant la Demeure.

4Yahweh parla à Moïse, en disant :

5« Reçois d’eux ces choses, et qu’elles soient employées pour le service de la tente de réunion ; tu les donneras aux Lévites, à chacun selon les besoins de son service. »

6Moïse, ayant pris les chars et les bœufs, les remit aux Lévites.

7Il donna deux chars et quatre bœufs aux fils de Gerson, selon les besoins de leur service ;

8il donna quatre chars et huit bœufs aux fils de Mérari, selon les besoins de leur service, sous la surveillance d’Ithamar, fils d’Aaron, le prêtre.

9Mais il n’en donna pas aux fils de Caath, parce que, ayant le service des objets sacrés, ils devaient les porter sur leurs épaules.

10Les princes présentèrent leur offrande pour la dédicace de l’autel, le jour où on l’oignit ; les princes présentèrent leur offrande devant l’autel.

11Et Yahweh dit à Moïse : « Que chaque jour un prince vienne présenter son offrande pour la dédicace de l’autel. »

12Celui qui présenta son offrande le premier jour fut Nahasson, fils d’Aminadab, de la tribu de Juda.

13Il offrit : un plat d’argent du poids de cent trente sicles, une coupe d’argent de soixante-dix sicles, selon le sicle du sanctuaire, l’un et l’autre pleins de fleur de farine pétrie à l’huile, pour l’oblation ;

14un godet d’or de dix sicles, plein de parfum ;

15un jeune taureau, un bélier et un agneau d’un an pour l’holocauste ;

16un bouc pour le sacrifice pour le péché,

17et, pour le sacrifice pacifique, deux bœufs, cinq béliers, cinq boucs et cinq agneaux d’un an. Telle fut l’offrande de Nahasson, fils d’Aminadab.

18Le second jour, Nathanaël, fils de Suar, prince de la tribu d’Issachar, présenta son offrande.

19Il offrit : un plat d’argent du poids de cent trente sicles, une coupe d’argent de soixante-dix sicles, selon le sicle du sanctuaire, l’un et l’autre pleins de fleur de farine pétrie à l’huile, pour l’oblation ;

20un godet d’or de dix sicles, plein de parfum ;

21un jeune taureau, un bélier et un agneau d’un an pour l’holocauste ;

22un bouc pour le sacrifice pour le péché,

23et, pour le sacrifice pacifique, deux bœufs, cinq béliers, cinq boucs et cinq agneaux d’un an. Telle fut l’offrande de Nathanaël, fils de Suar.

24Le troisième jour vint le prince des fils de Zabulon, Eliab, fils de Hélon ;

25il offrit : un plat d’argent du poids de cent trente sicles, et une coupe d’argent de soixante-dix sicles, selon le sicle du sanctuaire, l’un et l’autre pleins de fleur de farine pétrie à l’huile, pour l’oblation ;

26un godet d’or de dix sicles, plein de parfum ;

27un jeune taureau, un bélier et un agneau d’un an pour l’holocauste ;

28un bouc pour le sacrifice pour le péché,

29et, pour le sacrifice pacifique, deux bœufs, cinq béliers, cinq boucs et cinq agneaux d’un an. Telle fut l’offrande d’Eliab, fils de Hélon.

30Le quatrième jour vint le prince des fils de Ruben, Elisur, fils de Sédéur ;

31il offrit : un plat d’argent du poids de cent trente sicles, et une coupe d’argent de soixante-dix sicles, selon le sicle du sanctuaire, l’un et l’autre pleins de fleur de farine pétrie à l’huile, pour l’oblation ;

32un godet d’or de dix sicles, plein de parfum ;

33un jeune taureau, un bélier et un agneau d’un an pour l’holocauste ;

34un bouc pour le sacrifice pour le péché,

36Le cinquième jour vint le prince des fils de Siméon, Salamiel, fils de Surisaddaï ;

37il offrit : un plat d’argent du poids de cent trente sicles, et une coupe d’argent de soixante-dix sicles, selon le sicle du sanctuaire, l’un et l’autre pleins de fleur de farine pétrie à l’huile, pour l’oblation ;

38un godet d’or de dix sicles, plein de parfum ;

55il offrit : un plat d’argent du poids de cent trente sicles, et une coupe d’argent de soixante-dix sicles, selon le sicle du sanctuaire, l’un et l’autre pleins de fleur de farine pétrie à l’huile, pour l’oblation ;

56un godet d’or de dix sicles, plein de parfum ;

60Le neuvième jour vint le prince des fils de Benjamin, Abidan, fils de Gédéon ;

74un godet d’or de dix sicles, plein de parfum ;

78Le douzième jour vint le prince des fils de Nephtali, Ahira, fils d’Enan ;

79il offrit : un plat d’argent du poids de cent trente sicles, et une coupe d’argent de soixante-dix sicles, selon le sicle du sanctuaire, l’un et l’autre pleins de fleur de farine pétrie à l’huile, pour l’oblation ;

80un godet d’or de dix sicles, plein de parfum ;

82un bouc pour le sacrifice pour le péché,

84Tels furent les dons des princes d’Israël pour la dédicace de l’autel, le jour où on l’oignit : douze plats d’argent, douze coupes d’argents et douze godets d’or ;

85chaque plat d’argent pesait cent trente sicles, et chaque coupe soixante-dix ; total de l’argent de ces ustensiles : deux mille quatre cent sicles, selon le sicle du sanctuaire ; —

86les douze godets d’or pleins de parfum, chacun de dix sicles, selon le sicle du sanctuaire ; total de l’or des godets : cent vingt sicles. —

87Total des animaux pour l’holocauste : douze jeunes taureaux, douze béliers et douze agneaux d’un an, avec leurs oblations. Douze boucs pour le sacrifice pour le péché. —

88Total des animaux pour le sacrifice pacifique : vingt-quatre bœufs, soixante béliers, soixante boucs et soixante agneaux d’un an. Tels furent les dons offerts pour la dédicace de l’autel, après qu’on l’eut oint.

89Lorsque Moïse entrait dans la tente de réunion pour parler avec Yahweh, il entendait la voix qui lui parlait de dessus le propitiatoire placé sur l’arche du témoignage, entre les deux chérubins. Et il lui parlait.

85ita ut centum triginta siclos argenti haberet unum acetabulum, et septuaginta siclos haberet una phiala: id est, in commune vasorum omnium ex argento sicli duo millia quadringenti, pondere sanctuarii:

86mortariola aurea duodecim plena incenso, denos siclos appendentia pondere sanctuarii: id est, simul auri sicli centum viginti:

87boves de armento in holocaustum duodecim, arietes duodecim, agni anniculi duodecim, et libamenta eorum: hirci duodecim pro peccato.

88In hostias pacificorum, boves viginti quatuor, arietes sexaginta, hirci sexaginta, agni anniculi sexaginta. Hæc oblata sunt in dedicatione altaris, quando unctum est.

89Cumque ingrederetur Moyses tabernaculum fœderis, ut consuleret oraculum, audiebat vocem loquentis ad se de propitiatorio quod erat super arcam testimonii inter duos cherubim, unde et loquebatur ei.

1And it came to pass in the day that Moses had finished the tabernacle, and set it up, and had anointed and sanctified it with all its vessels, the altar likewise and all the vessels thereof,

2The princes of Israel and the heads of the families, in every tribe, who were the rulers of them who had been numbered, offered

3Their gifts before the Lord, six wagons covered, and twelve oxen. Two princes offered one wagon, and each one an ox, and they offered them before the tabernacle.

4And the Lord said to Moses:

5Receive them from them to serve in the ministry of the tabernacle, and thou shalt deliver them to the Levites according to the order of their ministry.

6Moses therefore receiving the wagons and the oxen, delivered them to the Levites.

7Two wagons and four oxen he gave to the sons of Gerson, according to their necessity.

37Offered a silver dish weighing one hundred and thirty sides, a silver bowl of seventy sides after the weight of the sanctuary, both full of flour tempered with oil for a sacrifice:

38A little mortar of gold weighing ten sides full of incense:

39An ox of the herd, and a ram, and a lamb of a year old for a holocaust:

40And a buck goat for sin:

41And for sacrifices of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five buck goats, five lambs of a year old. This was the offering of Salamiel the son of Surisaddai.

84These were the offerings made by the princes of Israel in the dedication of the altar, in the day wherein it was consecrated. Twelve dishes of silver: twelve silver bowls: twelve little mortars of gold:

85Each dish weighing a hundred and thirty sides of silver, and each bowl seventy sides: that is, putting all the vessels of silver together, two thousand four hundred sides, by the weight of the sanctuary.

86Twelve little mortars of gold full of incense, weighing ten sides apiece, by the weight of the sanctuary: that is, in all a hundred and twenty sides of gold.

88And for sacrifices of peace offerings, oxen twenty-four, rams sixty, buck goats sixty, lambs of a year old sixty. These things were offered in the dedication of the altar, when it was anointed.
