Isaías 12

1En aquel día dirás: “Yo te alabaré, Yahvé, porque después de airarte contra mí se aplacó tu ira, y me has consolado.

2He aquí que Dios es mi salvación; tendré confianza y no temeré, porque mi fortaleza y mi canto, es Yah, Yahvé, el cual ha sido mi salvación

3Sacaréis con regocijo el agua de las fuentes de salvación,

4y diréis en aquel día: “Alabad a Yahvé, invocad su nombre; pregonad sus obras entre los pueblos, proclamad que es excelso su Nombre.

5Cantad a Yahvé, porque ha hecho cosas gloriosas; que lo sepa la tierra entera.

6Prorrumpe en júbilo y canta, oh moradora de Sión; porque grande es en medio de ti el Santo de Israel.”

1[Et dices in die illa: Confitebor tibi, Domine, quoniam iratus es mihi; conversus est furor tuus, et consolatus es me.

2Ecce Deus salvator meus; fiducialiter agam, et non timebo: quia fortitudo mea et laus mea Dominus, et factus est mihi in salutem.

3Haurietis aquas in gaudio de fontibus salvatoris.

4Et dicetis in die illa: Confitemini Domino et invocate nomen ejus; notas facite in populis adinventiones ejus; mementote quoniam excelsum est nomen ejus.

5Cantate Domino, quoniam magnifice fecit; annuntiate hoc in universa terra.

6Exsulta et lauda, habitatio Sion, quia magnus in medio tui Sanctus Israël.]

1And thou shalt say in that day: I will give thanks to thee, O Lord, for thou wast angry with me: thy wrath is turned away, and thou hast comforted me.

2Behold, God is my saviour, I will deal confidently, and will not fear: O because the Lord is my strength, and my praise, and he is become my salvation.

3You shall draw waters with joy out of the saviour’s fountains:

4And you shall say in that day: Praise ye the Lord, and call upon his name: make his works known among the people: remember that his name is high.

5Sing ye to the Lord, for he hath done great things: shew this forth in all the earth.

6Rejoice, and praise, O thou habitation of Sion: for great is he that is in the midst of thee, the Holy One of Israel.
