Über diese Ausgabe

Ps 92 in dieser Fassung

1The Lord hath reigned, he is clothed with beauty: the Lord is clothed with strength, and hath girded himself. For he hath established the world which shall not be moved.

2Thy throne is prepared from of old: thou art from everlasting.

3The floods have lifted up, O Lord: the floods have lifted up their voice. The floods have lifted up their waves,

4With the noise of many waters. Wonderful are the surges of the sea: wonderful is the Lord on high.

5Thy testimonies are become exceedingly credible: holiness becometh thy house, O Lord, unto length of days.

Ps 92 in dieser Fassung

1Laus cantici ipsi David, in die ante sabbatum, quando fundata est terra. [Dominus regnavit, decorem indutus est: indutus est Dominus fortitudinem, et præcinxit se. Etenim firmavit orbem terræ, qui non commovebitur.

2Parata sedes tua ex tunc; a sæculo tu es.

3Elevaverunt flumina, Domine, elevaverunt flumina vocem suam; elevaverunt flumina fluctus suos,

4a vocibus aquarum multarum. Mirabiles elationes maris; mirabilis in altis Dominus.

5Testimonia tua credibilia facta sunt nimis; domum tuam decet sanctitudo, Domine, in longitudinem dierum.]

Ps 92 in dieser Fassung

1The Praise of a Canticle, of David himself. In the time before the Sabbath, when the earth was founded.

2The Lord has reigned. He has been clothed with beauty.

3The Lord has been clothed with strength, and he has girded himself. Yet he has also confirmed the world, which will not be moved.

4My throne is prepared from of old. You are from everlasting.

5The floods have lifted up, O Lord, the floods have lifted up their voice. The floods have lifted up their waves,

6before the noise of many waters. Wondrous are the surges of the sea; wondrous is the Lord on high.

7Your testimonies have been made exceedingly trustworthy. Sanctity befits your house, O Lord, with length of days.
