Êxodo 6

1O Senhor disse a Moisés: Agora verás o que eu farei a Faraó: (obrigado) por mão poderosa, deixará sair (os filhos de Israel) (obrigado) por mão poderosa os expulsará da sua terra.

2O Senhor falou a Moisés, dizendo: Eu sou o Senhor,

3que apareci a Abraão, a Isaac e a Jacob, como o Deus omnipotente: mas não lhes revelei o meu nome Javé.

4Fiz aliança com eles para lhes dar a terra de Canaan, a terra da sua peregrinação, na qual foram forasteiros.

5Ouvi o gemido dos filhos de Israel, que os Egípcios têm oprimido, e lembrei-me da minha aliança.

6Por isso, dize aos filhos de Israel: Eu sou o Senhor, que vos tirarei de sob o jugo dos Egipcios, vos livrarei da escravidão, vos resgatarei com o braço estendido e com grandes juízos.

7Farei de vós o meu povo, serei o vosso Deus e sabereis que eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus, que vos tirarei de sob o jugo dos Egipcios,

8e vos introduzirei na terra que jurei dar a Abraão, Isaac e Jacob, terra que entreguei ao vosso domínio. Eu sou o Senhor.

9Moisés contou tudo isto aos filhos de Israel; eles, porém, não o ouviram por causa da angústia do (seu) espirito e do seu trabalho duríssimo.

10O Senhor falou a Moisés, dizendo:

11Vai dizer a Faraó, rei do Egipto, que deixe partir da sua terra os filhos de Israel.

12Moisés respondeu na presença do Senhor; Os filhos de Israel não me ouvem; ora, como me ouvirá Faraó, a mim que tenho dificuldade em falar?

13O Senhor falou a Moisés e a Aarão, e deu-lhes ordens para os filhos de Israel e para Faraó, rei dó Egipto, a fim de tirarem os filhos de Israel da terra do Egipto.

14Estes são os chefes das casas seguindo as Suas famílias. Filhos de Ruben, primogênito de Israel: Henoch, Faliu, Hesron e Carmi.

15Estas são as famílias de Ruben. Filhos de Simeão: Jamuel, Jamim, Aod, Jaquin, Soar, e Saul, filho de uma cananeia. Esta é a progénie de Simeão.

16E estes são os nomes dos filhos de Levi, com as suas descendências: Gerson, Caath e Merari. Os anos da vida de Levi foram cento e trinta e sete.

17Filhos de Gerson: Lobni e Semei, com as suas gerações.

18Filhos de Caath, Amrão, Isaar, Hebron e Oziel. Os anos da vida de Caath, foram cento e trinta e três.

19Filhos de Merari: Mooli e Musi: estes (são) os descendentes de Levi, segundo as suas famílias.

20Amrão tomou por mulher a Jocabed, filha de seu tio paterto, a qual lhe deu à luz Aarão e Moisés. Os anos de vida de Amrão foram cento e trinta e sete.

21Filhos de Isaar: Coré, Nefeg e Zecri.

22Filhos de Oziel: Misael, Elisafan e Setri.

23Aarão tomou por mulher a Isabel, filha de Aminadab, irmã de Naason, a qual lhe deu à luz Nadab, Abiu, Eleazar e Itamar.

24Filhos de Coré: Aser, Elcana e Abiasaph. Estas são as famílias dos descendentes de Coré.

25Eleazar, filho de Aarão, tomou por mulher uma das filhas de Futiel, a qual lhe deu à luz Fineias. Estes são os chefes das linhagens dos levitas segundo as suas familias.

26Estes são o Aarão e o Moisés a quem o Senhor ordenou que tirassem da terra do Egipto os filhos de Israel segundo os seus grupos.

27Este Moisés e este Aarão são aqueles que falaram a Faraó, rei do Egipto, para tirarem do Egipto os filhos de Israel.

28No dia em que o Senhor falou a Moisés na terra do Egipto,

29o Senhor disse a Moisés: Eu sou o Senhor; dize a Faraó, rei do Egipto, tudo o que eu te digo.

30Moisés respondeu ao Senhor: Tenho dificuldade em falar: como ouvirá Faraó?

1Dixitque Dominus ad Moysen: Nunc videbis quæ facturus sim Pharaoni: per manum enim fortem dimittet eos, et in manu robusta ejiciet illos de terra sua.

2Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen dicens: Ego Dominus

3qui apparui Abraham, Isaac et Jacob in Deo omnipotente: et nomen meum Adonai non indicavi eis.

4Pepigique fœdus cum eis, ut darem eis terram Chanaan, terram peregrinationis eorum, in qua fuerunt advenæ.

5Ego audivi gemitum filiorum Israël, quo Ægyptii oppresserunt eos: et recordatus sum pacti mei.

6Ideo dic filiis Israël: Ego Dominus qui educam vos de ergastulo Ægyptiorum, et eruam de servitute, ac redimam in brachio excelso et judiciis magnis.

7Et assumam vos mihi in populum, et ero vester Deus: et scietis quod ego sum Dominus Deus vester qui eduxerim vos de ergastulo Ægyptiorum,

8et induxerim in terram, super quam levavi manum meam ut darem eam Abraham, Isaac et Jacob: daboque illam vobis possidendam. Ego Dominus.

9Narravit ergo Moyses omnia filiis Israël: qui non acquieverunt ei propter angustiam spiritus, et opus durissimum.

10Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen, dicens:

11Ingredere, et loquere ad Pharaonem regem Ægypti, ut dimittat filios Israël de terra sua.

12Respondit Moyses coram Domino: Ecce filii Israël non audiunt me: et quomodo audiet Pharao, præsertim cum incircumcisus sim labiis?

13Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen et Aaron, et dedit mandatum ad filios Israël, et ad Pharaonem regem Ægypti ut educerent filios Israël de terra Ægypti.

14Isti sunt principes domorum per familias suas. Filii Ruben primogeniti Israëlis: Henoch et Phallu, Hesron et Charmi:

15hæ cognationes Ruben. Filii Simeon: Jamuel, et Jamin, et Ahod, et Jachin, et Soar, et Saul filius Chananitidis: hæ progenies Simeon.

16Et hæc nomina filiorum Levi per cognationes suas: Gerson, et Caath, et Merari. Anni autem vitæ Levi fuerunt centum triginta septem.

17Filii Gerson: Lobni et Semei, per cognationes suas.

18Filii Caath: Amram, et Isaar, et Hebron, et Oziel; anni quoque vitæ Caath, centum triginta tres.

19Filii Merari: Moholi et Musi: hæ cognationes Levi per familias suas.

20Accepit autem Amram uxorem Jochabed patruelem suam: quæ peperit ei Aaron et Moysen. Fueruntque anni vitæ Amram, centum triginta septem.

21Filii quoque Isaar: Core, et Nepheg, et Zechri.

22Filii quoque Oziel: Misaël, et Elisaphan, et Sethri.

23Accepit autem Aaron uxorem Elisabeth filiam Aminadab, sororem Nahason, quæ peperit ei Nadab, et Abiu, et Eleazar, et Ithamar.

24Filii quoque Core: Aser, et Elcana, et Abiasaph: hæ sunt cognationes Coritarum.

25At vero Eleazar filius Aaron accepit uxorem de filiabus Phutiel: quæ peperit ei Phinees. Hi sunt principes familiarum Leviticarum per cognationes suas.

26Iste est Aaron et Moyses, quibus præcepit Dominus ut educerent filios Israël de terra Ægypti per turmas suas.

27Hi sunt, qui loquuntur ad Pharaonem regem Ægypti, ut educant filios Israël de Ægypto: iste est Moyses et Aaron,

28in die qua locutus est Dominus ad Moysen, in terra Ægypti.

29Et locutus est Dominus ad Moysen, dicens: Ego Dominus: loquere ad Pharaonem regem Ægypti, omnia quæ ego loquor tibi.

30Et ait Moyses coram Domino: En incircumcisus labiis sum, quomodo audiet me Pharao?

1And the Lord said to Moses: Now thou shalt see what I will do to Pharao: for by a mighty hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he cast them out of his land.

2And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: I am the Lord,

3That appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, by the name of God Almighty; and my name ADONAI I did not shew them.

4And I made a covenant with them, to give them the land of Chanaan, the land of their pilgrimage wherein they were strangers.

5I have heard the groaning of the children of Israel, wherewith the Egyptians have oppressed them: and I have remembered my covenant.

6Therefore say to the children of Israel: I am the Lord who will bring you out from the work prison of the Egyptians, and will deliver you from bondage: and redeem you with a high arm, and great judgments.

7And I will take you to myself for my people, I will be your God: and you shall know that I am the Lord your God who brought you out from the work prison of the Egyptians.

8And brought you into the land, concerning which I lifted up my hand to give it to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and I will give it you to possess, I am the Lord.

9And Moses told all this to the children of Israel: but they did not hearken to him, for anguish of spirit, and most painful work.

10And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:

11Go in, and speak to Pharao king of Egypt, that he let the children of Israel go out of his land.

12Moses answered before the Lord Behold the children of Israel do no hearken to me; and how will Pharao hear me, especially as I am of uncircumcised lips?

13And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, and he gave them a charge unto the children of Israel, and unto Pharao the king of Egypt, that they should bring forth the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.

14These are the heads of their house by their families. The sons of Rubel the firstborn of Israel: Henoch and Phallu, Hesron and Charmi.

15These are the kindreds of Ruben. The sons of Simeon: Jamuel, and Jamin and Ahod, and Jachin, and Soar, and Saul the son of a Chanaanitess: these are the families of Simeon.

16And these are the names of the sons of Levi by their kindreds: Gerson, and Caath, and Merari. And the years of the life of Levi were a hundred and thirty seven.

17The sons of Gerson: Lobni and Semei, by their kindreds.

18The sons of Caath: Amram, and Isaar, and Hebron, and Oziel. And the years of Caath’s life were a hundred and thirty-three.

19The sons of Merari: Moholi and Musi. These are the kindreds of Levi by their families.

20And Amram took to wife Jochabed his aunt by the father’s side: and she bore him Aaron and Moses. And the years of Amram’s life were a hundred and thirty-seven.

21The sons also of Isaar: Core, and Nepheg, and Zechri.

22The sons also of Oziel: Mizael, and Elizaphan, and Sethri.

23And Aaron took to wife Elizabeth the daughter of Aminadab, sister of Nahason, who bore him Nadab, and Abiu, and Eleazar, and Ithamar.

24The sons also of Core: Aser, and Elcana, and Abiasaph. These are the kindreds of the Corites.

25But Eleazar the son of Aaron took a wife of the daughters of Phutiel: and she bore him Phinees. These are the heads of the Levitical families by their kindreds.

26These are Aaron and Moses, whom the Lord commanded to bring forth the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their companies.

27These are they that speak to Pharao king of Egypt, in order to bring out the children of Israel from Egypt: these are that Moses and Aaron,

28In the day when the Lord spoke to Moses in the land of Egypt.

29And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: I am the Lord: speak thou to Pharao king of Egypt all that I say to thee.

30And Moses said before the Lord: Lo I am of uncircumcised lips, how will Pharao hear me?
