Josué 19

1La segunda suerte salió para Simeón, para la tribu de los hijos de Simeón, según sus familias, que recibieron su herencia en medio de la herencia de los hijos de Judá.

2Su herencia fue Bersabee, Seba, Moladá,

3Hazersual, Balá, Esem,

4Eltolad, Betul, Horma,

5Siclag, Betmarcabot, Hazersusá,

6Betlebaot y Sarunen: trece ciudades con sus aldeas.

7Ayin, Rimón, Éter y Asan: cuatro ciudades con sus aldeas;

8y todas las aldeas de los alrededores de estas ciudades, hasta Balaatbeer, que es Rama del Sur. Esta fue la herencia de la tribu de los hijos de Simeón, según sus familias.

9La herencia de los hijos de Simeón se tomó de la porción de los hijos de Judá, porque la porción de los hijos de Judá era demasiado grande para ellos; por tanto, los hijos de Simeón obtuvieron su herencia en medio de la herencia de ellos.

10La tercera suerte salió para los hijos de Zabulón según sus familias. La frontera de su herencia se extendía hasta Sarid.

11Subía su frontera hacia el oeste, a Maralá, y tocaba en Dabéset, y también en el torrente que pasa frente a Jocneam.

12De Sarid se volvía al este, hacia donde nace el sol, hasta el territorio de Kislot-Tabor, salía a Deberat, y subía a Jafía.

13De allí pasaba hacia el este, hacia donde nace el sol, a Gathéfer, a Etiasín, dirigiéndose hacia Rimón, Metoar y Neá.

14La frontera daba la vuelta, por la parte del norte, hasta Hanatón, y terminaba en el valle de Jefteel.

15(Se le dio) también Catat, Nahalal, Simrón, Idalá y Betlehem: doce ciudades con sus aldeas.

16Esta fue la herencia de los hijos de Zabulón, según sus familias: estas ciudades con sus aldeas.

17La cuarta suerte salió para Isacar, para los hijos de Isacar, según sus familias.

18Su territorio era: Jesreel, Kesulot, Sunem,

19Hafaraim, Sión, Anaharat,

20Rabit, Kisión, Ebes,

21Rémet, Enganim, Enhadá y Betfasés;

22la frontera tocaba en el Tabor, Sahasimá y Betsemes, y su territorio terminaba en el Jordán: dieciséis ciudades con sus aldeas.

23Esta fue la herencia de la tribu de los hijos de Isacar, según sus familias: las ciudades con sus aldeas.

24La quinta suerte salió para la tribu de los hijos de Aser, según sus familias.

25Su territorio comprendía: Helcat, Halí, Beten, Acsaf,

26Alamelec. Amad y Misal. Tocaba al oeste en el Carmelo y en Sihor-Libnat.

27Volviéndose hacia oriente, hasta Betdagón, tocaba en Zabulón y en el valle de Jefteel, por la parte del norte, pasaba por Bet-Emec y Neiel; y se extendía hacia Cabul, por la izquierda,

28y Hebrón, Rohob, Hamón y Cana, hasta Sidón, la grande.

29La frontera torcía hacia Ramá, hasta la plaza fuerte de Tiro, se volvía hacia Hosá, para terminar en el mar, en el distrito de Acsib.

30También Umá, Afec y Rohob: veinte y dos ciudades con sus aldeas.

31Esta fue la herencia de la tribu de los hijos de Aser, según sus familias: estas ciudades con sus aldeas.

32La sexta suerte salió para los hijos de Neftalí, para los hijos de Neftalí según sus familias.

33Comenzaba su territorio desde Hélef, desde el encinar de Zaananim, e iba por Adaminékeb y Jabneel hasta Lacum, acabando en el Jordán.

34Luego torcía la frontera hacia el oeste hasta Asnot-Tabor, y pasando de allí a Hucoc, lindaba con Zabulón, por el sur, tocando a Aser por el oeste, y a Judá del Jordán, en el este.

35Las ciudades fuertes eran Sidim, Ser, Hamat, Racat, Kinéret,

36Adamá, Rama, Hasor,

37Kedes, Edreí, En- Hasor,

38Jirón, Migdalel, Hórem, Betanat, y Betsemes: diez y nueve ciudades con sus aldeas.

39Esta fue la herencia de la tribu de los hijos de Neftalí, según sus familias: las ciudades con sus aldeas.

40La séptima suerte salió para la tribu de los hijos de Dan, según sus familias.

41El territorio de su herencia comprendía: Zorá, Estaol, Irsemes,

42Saalabin, Ayaón, Itlá,

43Elón, Timná, Acarón,

44Eltequé, Gibetón, Baalat,

45Jehud, Beneberac, Gatrimón,

46Mejarcón y Racón, con el territorio de enfrente de Joppe.

47El territorio de los hijos de Dan era demasiado estrecho para ellos, por lo cual los hijos de Dan subieron y pelearon contra Lésem; la conquistaron y la pasaron a filo de espada; y tomándola en posesión habitaron allí; llamando a Lésem, Dan, según el nombre de su padre Dan.

48Esta fue la herencia de la tribu de los hijos de Dan, según sus familias: estas ciudades con sus aldeas.

49Después de terminar la distribución del país, según sus territorios, los hijos de Israel dieron a Josué, hijo de Nun, una posesión en medio de ellos.

50Por orden de Yahvé le dieron la ciudad que él había solicitado, a saber, Timnatsérah, en la montaña de Efraím; y reedificó la ciudad y habitó allí.

51Estas son las herencias que el sacerdote Eleazar, Josué, hijo de Nun, y las cabezas de las casas paternas de las tribus de los hijos de Israel repartieron por sorteo, en Silo, ante Yahvé, a la entrada del Tabernáculo de la Reunión, terminando así la distribución del país.

8omnes viculi per circuitum urbium istarum usque ad Baalath Beer Ramath contra australem plagam. Hæc est hæreditas filiorum Simeon juxta cognationes suas,

9in possessione et funiculo filiorum Juda: quia major erat, et idcirco filii Simeon possederunt in medio hæreditatis eorum.

10Ceciditque sors tertia filiorum Zabulon per cognationes suas: factus est terminus possessionis eorum usque Sarid.

11Ascenditque de mari et Merala, et pervenit in Debbaseth, usque ad torrentem qui est contra Jeconam.

12Et revertitur de Sared contra orientem in fines Ceseleththabor: et egreditur ad Dabereth, ascenditque contra Japhie.

13Et inde pertransit usque ad orientalem plagam Gethepher et Thacasin: et egreditur in Remmon, Amthar et Noa.

14Et circuit ad aquilonem Hanathon: suntque egressus ejus vallis Jephthaël,

15et Cateth et Naalol et Semeron et Jerala et Bethlehem: civitates duodecim, et villæ earum.

16Hæc est hæreditas tribus filiorum Zabulon per cognationes suas, urbes et viculi earum.

17Issachar egressa est sors quarta per cognationes suas:

18fuitque ejus hæreditas Jezraël et Casaloth et Sunem

19et Hapharaim et Seon, et Anaharath

20et Rabboth et Cesion, Abes,

21et Rameth, et Engannim, et Enhadda et Bethpheses.

22Et pervenit terminus ejus usque Thabor et Sehesima et Bethsames, eruntque exitus ejus Jordanis: civitates sedecim, et villæ earum.

23Hæc est possessio filiorum Issachar per cognationes suas, urbes et viculi earum.

24Ceciditque sors quinta tribui filiorum Aser per cognationes suas:

25fuitque terminus eorum Halcath et Chali et Beten et Axaph

26et Elmelech et Amaad et Messal: et pervenit usque ad Carmelum maris et Sihor et Labanath,

27ac revertitur contra orientem Bethdagon: et pertransit usque Zabulon et vallem Jephthaël contra aquilonem in Bethemec et Nehiel. Egrediturque ad lævam Cabul,

28et Abran et Rohob et Hamon et Cana, usque ad Sidonem magnam.

29Revertiturque in Horma usque ad civitatem munitissimam Tyrum, et usque Hosa: eruntque exitus ejus in mare de funiculo Achziba:

30et Amma et Aphec et Rohob: civitates viginti duæ, et villæ earum.

31Hæc est possessio filiorum Aser per cognationes suas, urbesque et viculi earum.

32Filiorum Nephthali sexta sors cecidit per familias suas:

33et cœpit terminus de Heleph et Elon in Saananim, et Adami, quæ est Neceb, et Jebnaël usque Lecum: et egressus eorum usque ad Jordanem:

34revertiturque terminus contra occidentem in Azanotthabor, atque inde egreditur in Hucuca, et pertransit in Zabulon contra meridiem, et in Aser contra occidentem, et in Juda ad Jordanem contra ortum solis:

35civitates munitissimæ, Assedim, Ser, et Emath, et Reccath et Cenereth,

36et Edema et Arama, Asor

37et Cedes et Edrai, Enhasor,

38et Jeron et Magdalel, Horem et Bethanath et Bethsames: civitates decem et novem, et villæ earum.

39Hæc est possessio tribus filiorum Nephthali per cognationes suas, urbes et viculi earum.

40Tribui filiorum Dan per familias suas egressa est sors septima:

41et fuit terminus possessionis ejus Sara et Esthaol, et Hirsemes, id est, civitas solis.

42Selebin et Ajalon et Jethela,

43Elon et Themna et Acron,

44Elthece, Gebbethon et Balaath,

45et Jud et Bane et Barach et Gethremmon:

46et Mejarcon et Arecon, cum termino qui respicit Joppen,

47et ipso fine concluditur. Ascenderuntque filii Dan, et pugnaverunt contra Lesem, ceperuntque eam: et percusserunt eam in ore gladii, et possederunt, et habitaverunt in ea, vocantes nomen ejus Lesem Dan, ex nomine Dan patris sui.

48Hæc est possessio tribus filiorum Dan, per cognationes suas, urbes et viculi earum.

49Cumque complesset sorte dividere terram singulis per tribus suas, dederunt filii Israël possessionem Josue filio Nun in medio sui,

50juxta præceptum Domini, urbem quam postulavit Thamnath Saraa in monte Ephraim: et ædificavit civitatem, habitavitque in ea.

51Hæ sunt possessiones, quas sorte diviserunt Eleazar sacerdos, et Josue filius Nun, et principes familiarum ac tribuum filiorum Israël in Silo, coram Domino ad ostium tabernaculi testimonii: partitique sunt terram.

1And the second lot came forth for the children of Simeon by their kindreds: and their inheritance was

2In the midst of the possession of the children of Juda: Bersabee and Sabee and Molada,

3And Hasersual, Bala and Asem,

4And Eltholad, Bethul and Harma,

5And Siceleg and Bethmarchaboth and Hasersusa,

6And Bethlebaoth and Sarohen: thirteen cities, and their villages.

7Ain and Remmon and Athor and Asan: four cities, and their villages.

8And all the villages round about these cities to Baalath Beer Ramath to the south quarter. This is the inheritance of the children of Simeon according to their kindreds,

9In the possession and lot of the children of Juda: because it was too great, and therefore the children of Simeon had their possession in the midst of their inheritance.

10And the third lot fell to the children of Zabulon by their kindreds: and the border of their possession was unto Sarid.

11And it went up from the sea and from Merala, and came to Debbaseth: as far as the torrent, which is over against Jeconam.

12And it returneth from Sarid eastward to the borders of Ceseleththabor: and it goeth out to Dabereth, and ascendeth towards Japhie.

13And it passeth along from thence to the east side of Gethhepher and Thacasin: and goeth out to Remmon, Amthar and Noa.

14And it turneth about to the north of Hanathon: and the outgoings thereof are the valley of Jephtahel,

15And Cateth and Naalol and Semeron and Jedala and Bethlehem: twelve cities and their villages.

16This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Zabulon by their kindreds, the cities and their villages.

17The fourth lot came out to Issachar by their kindreds.

18And his inheritance was Jezrael and Casaloth and Sunem,

19And Hapharaim and Seen and Anaharath,

20And Rabboth and Cesion, Abes,

21And Rameth and Engannim and Enhadda and Bethpheses.

22And the border thereof cometh to Thabor and Sehesima and Bethsames: and the outgoings thereof shall be at the Jordan: sixteen cities, and their villages.

23This is the possession of the sons of Issachar by their kindreds, the cities and their villages.

24And the fifth lot fell to the tribe of the children of Aser by their kindreds:

25And their border was Halcath and Chali and Beten and Axaph,

26And Elmelech and Amaad and Messal: and it reacheth to Carmel by the sea and Sihor and Labanath,

27And it returneth towards the east to Bethdagon: and passeth along to Zabulon and to the valley of Jephthael towards the north to Bethemec and Nehiel. And it goeth out to the left side of Cabul,

28And to Abaran and Rohob and Hamon and Cana, as far as the great Sidon.

29And it returneth to Horma to the strong city of Tyre, and to Hosa: and the outgoings thereof shall be at the sea from the portion of Achziba:

30And Amma and Aphec and Rohob: twenty-two cities, and their villages.

31This is the possession of the children of Aser by their kindreds, and the cities and their villages.

32The sixth lot came out to the sons of Nephtali by their families:

33And the border began from Heleph and Elon to Saananim, and Adami, which is Neceb, and Jebnael even to Lecum: and their outgoings unto the Jordan:

34And the border returneth westward to Azanotthabor, and goeth out from thence to Hucuca, and passeth along to Zabulon southward, and to Aser westward, and to Juda upon the Jordan towards the rising of the sun.

35And the strong cities are Assedim, Ser, and Emath, and Reccath and Cenereth,

36And Edema and Arama, Asor,

37And Cedes and Edri, Enhasor,

38And Jeron and Magdalel, Herem, and Bethanath and Bethsames: nineteen cities, and their villages.

39This is the possession of the tribe of the children of Nephtali by their kindreds, the cities and their villages.

40The seventh lot came out to the tribe of the children of Dan by their families:

41And the border of their possession was Saraa and Esthaol, and Hirsemes, that is, the city of the sun.

42Selebin and Aialon and Jethela,

43Elon and Themna and Acron,

44Elthece, Gebbethon and Balaath,

45And Jud and Bane and Barach and Gethremmon:

46And Mejarcon and Arecon, with the border that looketh towards Joppe,

47And is terminated there. And the children of Dan went up and fought against Lesem, and took it: and they put it to the sword, and possessed it, and dwelt in it, calling the name of it Lesem Dan, by the name of Dan their father.

48This is the possession of the tribe of the sons of Dan, by their kindreds, the cities and their villages.

49And when he had made an end of dividing the land by lot to each one by their tribes, the children of Israel gave a possession to Josue the son of Nun in the midst of them,

50According to the commandment of the Lord, the city which he asked for, Thamnath Saraa, in mount Ephraim: and he built up the city, and dwelt in it.

51These are the possessions which Eleazar the priest, and Josue the son of Nun, and the princes of the families, and of the tribes of the children of Israel, distributed by lot in Silo, before the Lord at the door of the tabernacle of the testimony, and they divided the land.
